Are Crest White Strips bad for your teeth????

I have semi white teeth. I brush a lot. I never miss a morning and evening of brushing. I have good hygiene but my teeth aren't seeming to get any whiter. Can Crest White strips hurt your teeth? would they help?


Any suggestions, that dont costa fourtune.

Are Crest White Strips bad for your teeth????
They can weaken the enamel on the teeth if used too often. Crest has new whitening toothpaste with enamel protection called Vivid White. It works well and is fine for sensitive teeth.
Reply:I asked my dentist if those whiteners would hurt my teeth. He recommended the Crest whitestrips. He felt they were the safest to use. They worked too.

Reply:I love Crest white strips. You might would have to use them less than the instructions say... because they can make teeth a little sensitive after using them for a couple days. Here's some advice that I've learned with them. They work best for me right after going to the dentist. I don't know why... but I got the best and whitest results when I started the morning after a dentist appointment.





I use them every 12-18 months... and people always compliment me on my teeth. So, they must work!
Reply:some may find this odd but i was watching oprah about 2 years ago had some dentist specialist on her show on do it your slef dental and they said that f you buy MR.CLEAN magic erasor $3.99 and tear of a small piece wet it and then wipe your teeth vigorusly with it it will whiten them up signifigantly then brush immediatly afterwards my husband had a big yellow stain on his two front teeth before our wedding from smoking and i tryed it and you wouldnt even know he had a stain so maybe you could try it its good for Tons of other thing removes nail polish everything hope this helps even though it is a little bizzare but OPRAH said it so cant be that bad other wise im sure someone would have sued her by now for it
Reply:I am in the process of using the strips, in fact I am on day three! My teeth have gotten noticeably whiter, but they hurt a lot. They are very sensitive and I feel as if i just got braces tightened or something. They are not as glamorous as they make them seem either. You are supposed to be able to talk with them in but talking is nearly impossible, and it is hard to swallow with them in. And when you swallow some of the peroxide from the strips is swallowed too! But they only have to be on for 30 minutes twice a day. I think I am gonna have to start doing it once a day though, cuz my teeth are really getting sensitive. Even though they are messy and make my teeth hurt, they seem worth it to me. I can not ever seem to make my teeth whiter, but white strips are actually working! Be sure to buy the premium...not the regular! And as far as being harmful..the sensitivity is supposedly normal and it is just peroxide on a strip so it isnt toxic. As long as you only use them for the recommended period of time your enamel should be fine as well. Hope I helped ~Peace~
