I don't drink coffee and I don't smoke. I brush 2-3 times a day (usually 3) with whitening tooth paste, but my teeth are still a dull beige-like color. By wisdom teeth even grew in that color. I've never tried whitening strips or anything, but I take really good care of my teeth. I know tons of people who have white teeth and they don't whiten theirs either.
I know I could be much worse off. It's not like my teeth are noticeably yellow or anything. I'm just wondering why they're not white.
Why aren't my teeth white?
Contrary to popular belief, not everyone is supposed to be born with bleach-white teeth. Natural teeth color can range from that color to very beige-ecru. If you are unhappy with your teeth's current coloring, you can try one of many of the OTC bleaching agents such as the gels or the strips to try to get them whiter. If those results prove unsuccessful, you may need to have them professionally whitened. You do want your teeth to be the right shade of whiteness that complements and not competes with your natural skin tone. I have seen some people who made their teeth too white and then they got a tan and their teeth seemed to look demonic and unnatural. Also, check out your diet--certain berries, teas, colas and chocolate will stain your teeth.
Reply:it's nearly impossible to get PERFECT white teeth. But you should try using a toothpaste with baking soda. It removes stains.
Reply:The only thing you can do is go to the dentist and get them cleaned and whitened...That will work for sure.
Reply:Don't think there supposed to be paper white. Don't worry about it
Reply:Not everyone is born with pearly white teeth
Reply:do you drink soda or eat things that can cause surace stains?
you may not also be brushing well enough.
Reply:Genetics, diet, habits, and environment. All of these factor into your teeth (enamel).
If you really want to get your teeth to a good white color, your dentist is the best step. They will make a mouth-mold and give you a bleaching gel that will whiten your teeth far better than any over-the-counter option.
After that, use a good toothpaste and keep your vitamin/mineral intake healthy (take a multi)
Reply:I don't know but just use whitening strips or whitening trays from the dentist and you wont have to worry about it any more.
