White teeth?

have any of u heard, that washing ur teeth with a lil combination of vinegar and baking soda actually whitens ur teeth in that same instance. ..Im all into my teeth and have always cared for them,, but this is something unusual.. eventhough i hate vinegar its worth a shot.

Reply:I've heard that, but I've also heard that the baking soda can harm your teeth's enamel.
Reply:Yes, I've tried it and I do think it works.. Not as a "real" tooth bleaching thingie at the dentist or anything, but a bit.





I wouldn't think it's too good for the enamel though.. Probably like some of these "scrubbing" toothpastes and so on? Perhaps someone else is less speculating? ;)

Reply:Yes I have heard that. And I have tried that. It works. If you dont want to use vinegar just use baking soda. Get your toothbrush, wash your hands, and rub some baking soda onto the brush. Slash a couple of drops of water and start brushing! After you have fully brushed your mouth rinse with water and you should be set. Do that for a couple of weeks and you should see a difference. If not ask your doctor for some advice on things to buy at the store from brands like Crest. I have also heard that using lemon will whiten your teeth...but DONT do that. The lemon acids will make the enamel on your teeth thin and easy to break. So that's just a heads up. Good Luck!

Reply:I have heard of that to, but I don't think it works as well as professional whitening. I think the problem is, if you put to many products on your teeth to whiten them, you can actually damage your gums.
